Pakriti - your birth constitution. From the moment you take your first breath your constitution is set.  You have become a unique combination of the 5 elements expressing in the 3 doshas which informs your life and how to dwell in balance. 

Dosha- your unique combination of Vatta, Pitta, and Kapha. You have a primary dosha, a secondary dosha and the third dosha is neutral or balanced.

Vatta - Ether and Air elements. The word for vatta is change. Vatta organs are hollow and wind related to prana or energy, heart, lungs, and intestines.

Pitta - Fire element. The word for pitta is action. Pitta organs are metabolizing and digesting related to Tejas, or elimination - Liver, Stomach, spleen and gall bladder.

Kapha - Water and Earth Element.  The word for Kapha is nourish.  Kapha organs are the water works in your body related to ojas, or vital essence - Kidneys, lymphatic system and circulatory system.
